All of the schemes aim to encourage farmers to consider how their land can provide a good habitat for native species and how they can minimise farming methods that might be damaging to our environment. Finding ways to create a sustainable farming system is so important for the future of our industry. Key concepts are biodiversity, enhancing and protecting the historic landscape, promoting public access and protecting natural resources.
