Flora

The first step is to look after the Flora that is already here. We do this by considered cropping and applications of product. Thereafter, it’s about adding to what is already here. We’ve sown wild flower margins, planted wild bird cover, planted in excess of 10,000m (60,000 plants) of new hedges, coppiced and infilled old hedges, put in beetle banks, sown 400 ha of green cover crops on winter stubbles each year and planted around 15,000 trees over the last 5 years. We have lots of plans for increasing our focus on the natural environment over the next few years.
