Hedgerows in Their First Harvest

A few short years after planting, our new hedgerows are bearing their first real crop. Laden with hawthorn haws, dog-rose hips, sloes and a mix of native berries, they've become a working autumn larder — sustaining birds, pollinators and small mammals as the colder months draw in, and knitting together the corridors that let wildlife move freely across the estate.
These are, quite literally, the fruits of our labour: the reward for hedgerows laid by hand and tended with care. What we plant today will feed and shelter the land's wildlife for generations to come.
