New Planting

With 500 acres of woodland on the Estate, this is a land use that is rightly receiving more attention now than over the last century. Trees are a fantastic store of carbon. Trees can help us slow global warning by removing carbon dioxide from the air.
Over the past year alone we have planted more than 2,000 native trees on the Estate. Amongst our new woodlands will be oak, beech, cherry, crab apple, hazel, holly and willows.
